Kanchanaburi
On the 1st December Year 6 went on a residential trip to Kanchanaburi. We stayed there for 3 nights visiting the JEATH museum, the famous bridge over the River Kwai, the waterfalls at Erawn (we climbed to level 5), Hellfire Pass (where we walked 3km along the old track) and then traveled on the famous “Death Railway” between Nam Tok and Kanchanaburi. We ended our trip with a visit to the funfair and all the children agreed it was an excellent trip.We have been working towards this trip all term in History, where we studied World War II and in Geography, where we learnt about rivers. We did lots of work while we were there but also had time to enjoy ourselves.
“Our favorite bit was the funfair as it was fun and I liked the room that we slept in. “ Praew |
