Book Day

On the 16th of January this year, St John’s International School invited the book company Scholastic’ to hold their annual book fair. There were a wide variety of books for sale, as well as educational games. The Primary school students dressed up as their favourite characters and joined in the activities arranged by Scholastic, including a special appearance by Clifford the dog! The award for best costume of the day was given to Ping Ping (Reception) for the girls and James (Reception) for the boys.

There was also a competition to find a photo of a child reading in the most unusual place which was won by Ethan and William McCauley (Nursery & Yr 3). All in all it was a fun filled and successful day and we thank scholastic and everyone else who took part. We are looking forward to the next one!
