Hi, my name is Sarunyu Phonsen. I am 15 years old and attend Saint John’s International school. Although I have lived in Bangkok since I was born, my dad was born in Suphanburi and then he came to find a job in Bangkok and became a politician at Uthaithani.
My first loves in life are swimming and badminton. I have been playing badminton since I was 8 years old. I have been winning second place in badminton competitions in a sports club call Rajapreuk since I was 13 years old, and I have taken part in nearly every Fobissea event at school. The last one was in Penang, Malaysia and I won a lot of medals in the swimming event and some from football events but mostly from swimming and now I have about 40 medals in my house.
What inspires me? The thing that inspires me is my own determination. I just want to exercise and keep fit for my own health. The person that helps and always gives me encouragement is my mum. When, in some of the swimming events I don’t get any medals she always says that “if you have already tried your best, whether you win or not I am always proud of you”
