Hallo,
My name is Stefan and I’m 17 years old. I’ll attend St. John’s International School for one term only. This is due to the fact that I’m German and in Germany year 11 students get the opportunity to go to a foreign country for half a year or even a year. The reason I’m doing this is that I like travelling. I’ve already been to almost every European country and so got to know many different people and cultures.
This is actually my first time in Thailand and until now I have been enjoying myself quite a lot. As for my hobbies, you might already have guessed that travelling and seeing new things in life is very important to me. I also like reading Fantasy/ Sci-Fi books, playing games, both with my friends and alone or simply talking to friends (or e-mailing them, should they be at the other end of the world at the time... This actually happens more often than you might expect).
Since friends are very important to me, I’m quite fond of team-based games like football or basketball. I actually was glad to join the school’s football team, seeing that we don’t have a proper school team back in Germany.
Furthermore I one of those persons who actually enjoy maths and mind games like Sudoku and I think this is going to help me quite a lot in the future. I’m even a member of a maths club at one of my hometown’s universities (in Berlin).
So, what might a person liking sports, maths and almost any kind of music become after finishing school? Well, I don’t yet! I’ll just wait and see what comes towards me. In any case numbers should be involved (who would have thought that?!).
As far as my other future plans are concerned, I’d really like to see more of Asia (Thailand is actually the first Asian country I’ve visited), especially more of Thailand itself, Japan and China.
