Lunch Menu
The school meals at St. John’s International School is outsourced to Epicure Co.
Ltd owned and managed by Mr. Trevor Allen. Mr. Allen, a long time resident of
Thailand and has three children who all attended International Schools in
Bangkok.
Epicure has a team of about 12 staff at the SJIS campus daily.
 The staff are well trained in the food service business and regularly receive
training on good hygiene and safety in the kitchens.
Epicure currently
provides catering services to several of the international schools in Bangkok.
The main office has a team of chefs who prepare and provide menus to the School,
which are updated weekly. In addition to the chefs they employ a dietician to
ensure that we can continue to offer a well balanced diet with a variety of
healthy options.
School lunch is an international style buffet.
Students are able to select from a wide choice of Western, Thai and Vegetarian
food. A salad and fruit bar and desserts are also available to students. The
school additionally provides food prepared by Halal food standards for our
Muslim students.
The catering service also includes a mid-morning
snack and milk.
The School oversees the services provided by Epicure.
The school has regular contact with Epicure to ensure that a good standard is
maintained throughout the school year.
